"Danke" for the great game Hamburg! It was also nice to see so many fans in Tilburg from the Hansestadt. A friend of mine told me he was approached by a Crocodiles fan after the game who congratulated him with the Trappers OT victory. Hockeyfans are the best :) #WirSindAlleEishockeyfans

@Lächerlich: (Gast): In the DEB Spielordnung you will not find any special rules for Tilburg. You keep making those up... Furthermore, the DEB says, in Germany, the goaltender 'has to have a German passport', in the Netherlands he 'has to have a Dutch passport'. So what? Are you saying there are no - and never have been - OL goaltenders that were born outside of Germany? Of course not, consider Kevin Beech (Canada), Patrik Cerveny (Czech Republic), et cetera. The DEB says to goaltenders "you have got to have a certain passport to play here, but we do not care where you were born". No-one wants to "claim" the league. We only want two things: to enjoy Eishockey together with you guys and have a civilised conversation before and after the games about how we can improve that experience! Wir sind alle Eishockeyfans.

@Selber Wolf: You are right. That is "ein Unterschied", but it is also something teams either do not seem to care about, or simply want to evade. Because whatever the rules, some teams have a roster, 30% of which was 'not born in Germany'... In other words, if the league makes rules, they are easily bended. But you do make a good comment Selber Wolf, and we should be open to those instead of making up stuff or just cursing at 'the Dutch' like some people. @Lächerlich (Gast): Fluchen ist unnötig. And if a league hosts teams from different countries, then it is (!) an international league. And no amount of 'schreien' will change that.

Let's face reality here. (Kein Urteil. Es ist nur eine Tatsache.) Let's be honest. All this endless talk of made-up rules is not what this discussion is about. It is about two different things: Firstly, some people still have a problem with the fact that the league has become international (even though this has been the case for three years, and besides the fact that many leagues in the world host teams from different countries). Secondly, it's the fact that the Trappers are associated with the Dutch. - And specifically, for some people, losing to 'the Dutch' is a sore point. That is why they always refer to the Trappers as "das Problem". If the Trappers were the "Prügelknaben" of the league, there would not be a torrent of vitriol aimed at Tilburg every single time. Now, the sooner people get over these childish beliefs, we can get back to talking about hockey. Deggendorf played well on Friday. 9 goals against is tough, but DSC showed they can play some serious hockey! Also, a salute to their wonderful fans. It is always a pleasure to have people over from Bayern! Also a friendly nod to the die-hard hockey fans from Herne. Hopefully you can come over again on Tuesday. The more the merrier :)

Again three poor referees (both German and Dutch if I'm not mistaken). That's was a shame for Tilburg, Hannover and the fans. Let's hope that picks up for the finals :) Bis Freitag Deggendorfer! Let's have fun out there. #wirsindalleeishockeyfans

Warum die Scorpions (vielleicht) gewinnen werden: 1. Linda. Er ist phänomenal. 2. Linda noch einmal. Ohne ihn wäre es ein 'Sweep' gewesen. 3. Schiedsrichter in rot-weiß. Schande, aber was kann man sagen. 4. :)
